The Slightlys on The Moment

THE SLIGHTLYS met in a high school Battle of the Bands competition held at Club Nokia back in 2012 while playing in different bands. None of their bands won that year, or even placed, but members of the bands all really liked each other’s music so they started hanging out and playing together and two years later THE SLIGHTLYS were formed. They went back and won first place in that same Battle of the Bands. The band was all born and raised in Los Angeles and last year we won first place in the “Emerging Artist Competition” at Rusty’s on the santa Monica Pier, playing with sixteen bands including BONAVOX and THE MO ODDS. They have also won The LA County Fair Battle of the Bands judged by Kevin Lyman (warped tour), Bob Becker (Fearless Records) and Paul Tollet (Coachella).
