After graduating college, Jhon worked for Warner Brothers on the Arnold Schwarzenegger film "Eraser", and from there, he spent the next few years working on independent films, as an actor, writer, director and producer. His plays "Dreamland" and "Savannah Hammer" debuted in LA, and, in 2006, he was one of the first writer/directors to venture into the (then new) medium of web series. He is the creator of "The Dopler Effect", a sci-fi/thriller web series that first aired in 2007, and deals with the subject matter of The Singularity and Transhumanism. In 2014, his short film (writer/director) "Don't Creep Up" won Best Horror Short at the Downtown LA Film Festival. In the summer of 2015, he released an EP under the name "Federal Dog". The project features four original songs written by him, as well as two covers. As of 2015, Jhon has been working on "The Reveal"; a series created by friend and collaborator, John Lacy. Jhon is both acting in (as hitman Butch), and contributing music for, the series. As of May, 2015, his song "1,000 Eyes" won best original song by the IndieFEST film awards.
